This role plays a key part in the execution of procurement activities within a regional or site-specific context, as well as supplier management responsibilities in alignment with the Category Management team. /ppThe Sourcing Manager supports key procurement processes and ensures compliance with internal policies, while actively contributing to performance optimization, cost savings, and stakeholder satisfaction. /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pliExecute procurement requests in line with category guidance and company standards, including use of preferred supplier agreements and contractual requirements /liliEngage with procurement and business stakeholders to align on procurement strategy and execute sourcing processes /liliUtilize appropriate tools and methodologies to maximize procurement value and efficiency /liliCollaborate with Category Management to identify sourcing opportunities and aggregate demand where applicable /liliEnsure supplier performance is optimized and aligned with business expectations /liliPrepare, review, and manage contractual documentation (e.g. master agreements, statements of work, change orders) in collaboration with legal and compliance functions /liliUnderstand and translate end-user requirements into actionable procurement strategies /liliEnsure full compliance with applicable procurement policies, procedures, and documentation standards /liliProvide updates on procurement status, progress, and results to internal stakeholders /liliSupport ongoing process improvements and knowledge sharing within the procurement function /lipbRequired Qualifications and Experience /b /pliUniversity degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline /liliMinimum 3 years of experience in procurement, including contracting, ERP systems (preferably SAP), and spot buying /liliExperience in sourcing management within technical categories (e.g., electronics, mechanics) /liliStrong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into procurement requirements /liliKnowledge of sourcing tools and procurement platforms (e.g., eSourcing, eAuction) /liliProficiency in English (written and spoken) /liliDemonstrated ability to support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives /liliStrong team orientation and stakeholder management skills /liliPreferred Qualifications /liliPostgraduate business-related qualification or certifications (e.g., CIPS, ISM) /liliExperience in Strategic Sourcing or international cost optimization projects /liliExposure to operational excellence or continuous improvement frameworks /liliIndustry experience in Life Sciences or regulated environments /liliFluency in German (B2 level or higher) /liliExperience with procure-to-pay and sourcing systems /lipWe look forward to your application. /p#LI-KT1
