We are looking for a highly motivated full-time (100%) Business Development Manager based in Suisse Romande.
The Business Development Manager role is a vital part of our dynamic sales team. Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in French-speaking markets, leveraging your technical expertise and business acumen to identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue.
You will:
1. Work in a dynamic start-up environment with immediate international ambitions and rapid growth.
2. Support the sales process from start to finish, from sourcing leads, leading pitches, preparing offers and closing deals with our partners.
3. Work closely with our marketing team to drive awareness by participating in trade events and other lead generating activities.
4. Be the first point of Sales contact for French-speaking customers and partners.
5. Execute sales programs to achieve our quarterly sales targets.
6. Act as a trusted advisor to partners to guarantee their end-to-end satisfaction.
7. Work side-by-side with our partners to optimize our customer lifecycle and support them to successfully deliver SCION-based solutions.
8. Work with our Product team to implement customer feedback.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a sales representative.
2. Fluency in French and English is a must; German is a plus.
3. Based in Suisse Romande or border cities (e.g. Biel, Fribourg).
4. Strong experience in solution selling in a B2B technology company.
5. Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
6. In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: telecom/networking, network as a service, software as a service, and/or system integration.
7. Enjoy the challenge of selling and introducing a new technology to the market.
8. Proficiency in sales and collaboration tools including CRM (e.g. HubSpot), Google Workspace, Microsoft tools, etc.
9. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
