hotel has 241 rooms and suites. This establishment is seeking a highly skilled employee to lead the financial operations and drive the hotel’s success: Director of Finance
MISSIONS:
The Director of Finance will oversee all financial activities, ensuring compliance, strategic financial planning, and operational efficiency through the following, but not limited to, activities & tasks:
Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability and cost efficiency
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in line with regulatory standards
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and international financial standards
Manage financial risks and develop strategies to enhance financial sustainability
Supervise and lead the finance team, providing mentorship and performance management
Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies
Optimize cash flow management and financial controls
Collaborate with executive leadership to support business expansion and revenue growth
PROFILE:
Proven experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality industry
Prior experience working in African markets is required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance in Equatorial Guinea or similar regions
Fluent in Spanish and French
Proficiency in financial software and hotel management systems
Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
