Job Description
* Supervise the collection and analysis of accounting data to ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP RPC standards.
* Prepare and review individual financial reports before consolidation.
* Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with local and statutory requirements.
* Manage the integration of new entities and operations related to mergers and restructurings.
* Oversee tax compliance, including reviewing tax returns and ensuring regulatory conformity.
* Participate in the implementation and improvement of accounting and consolidation ERP systems.
* Establish and supervise critical internal controls to ensure process reliability.
* Provide technical support to local teams and ensure continuous training.
* Adapt and validate accounting procedures for newly acquired entities.
* Coordinate external audits and oversee the implementation of recommendations.
* Collaborate with various departments to optimize financial processes.
* Some travels (across occidental part of Switzerland) to subsidiaries to support local teams.
The Successful Applicant
* Higher education in finance or accounting (Bachelor's or Master's degree) or an equivalent federal diploma. Swiss CPA or French CPA a real plus.
* Significant experience in group accounting, ideally in a multi-entity environment.
* Background in external audit required.
* Mastery of Swiss GAAP RPC or international standards, with initial exposure to Swiss tax obligations preferred.
* Experience in optimizing accounting processes and internal controls.
* Proficiency with accounting ERP systems and ability to support their deployment.
* Analytical mindset, rigor, and ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
* Excellent communication, organization, and stress management skills.
* Ability to train and support teams.
* Fluent in French with a good command of English; proficiency in other languages is an asset.
