Job Title: Senior EI&C Plant Engineering Leader
As a Senior EI&C Plant Engineering Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production plants. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of Senior EI&C Plant Engineers, engineers, and specialists in various areas.
Main Responsibilities:
* Setting up and managing a team of EI&C Plant Engineers, EI&C engineers, and specialists. You will provide leadership to the team and be responsible for all aspects of human resource management, including qualification, development, coaching, hiring, pay decisions, and discipline issues.
* Responsible for resource and vacation planning of the assigned team members to ensure the fulfillment of all production orders.
* You will control your own costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction measures.
* Ensure a good exchange of information between upper management levels and the team through regular team meetings and issue escalation.
* Implement the company culture by promoting openness to change and new ideas, cooperative teamwork, and continuous improvement even outside your area of responsibility.
* Implement a maintenance strategy, standards, and concepts in the assets in alignment with the entire site to ensure the required plant availability while considering cost-effectiveness.
* You will initiate, prepare, and manage feasibility and engineering studies, projects, and investments.
* Responsible for all aspects related to engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration of the assigned assets/systems, such as DeltaV, MES, PLC's, and user access administration in coordination and support from local Systems Specialist teams.
* Maintain the qualification status (regarding cGMP and safety) of production plants. Support the production manager in engineering and maintenance topics.
* You will continuously work on potential improvements of internal processes and innovation.
* Represent EI&C qualification and calibration during inspections by authorities and customer audits.
* Adhere to technical directives and laws (Lonza Standards, SVTI, ATEX, and machinery directive, SOPs, etc.).
* Ensure and manage interfaces to Manufacturing, Plant Engineering, QA, and QC.
* Support the preparation of GMP and Safety risk assessments and introduce expertise into these risk analyses.
* Functionally responsible as 'specialist/expert' for assigned topic according CHVI-7873 'EMR-Fachverantwortung' and as member of a knowledge management team (KMT).
* As a member of the Advanced Synthesis BioConjugates Plant Engineering Leadership Team, you will be responsible for all aspects representing your area.
