Regional Account Manager - Public
Drive Sales Growth in Switzerland
This role involves leading direct sales engagements into small and midsize public accounts and regional partners in Switzerland.
Your focus will be on creating and implementing account plans to attain deployments of Fortinet products. You will develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers and leverage these during the sales process.
Coordinate with internal groups to generate and deliver winning contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work.
Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve positive results that provide a basis for strong ongoing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Generate business opportunities and run sales strategies through to closure of the sale.
2. Achieve agreed quarterly sales goals.
3. Generate a sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. You have a proven ability to sell solutions to public or semi-public accounts and/or commercial accounts with at least 3 years sales experience.
2. You bring a demonstrated track record of quota achievement and career stability with experience in closing deals in the commercial segment.
3. You possess excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors, as well as excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.
4. You are an ambitious, independent thinker able to move deals through the selling cycle.
5. You are a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings a daring, hunter-type mentality.
6. Minimum 1 year selling network security products and services.
