Your tasks:
* Provide information to customers as it pertains to available services, prices and new products
* Prepare sales proposals, calculate prices within the framework, present quotes to customers and ensure follow-ups
* Manage assigned global key accounts
* Use the deep company insights you gained to answer inquiries or relay them to the correct specialists at Bachem
* Collaborate with our customer service team to manage customer complaints, stock levels and product lifecycle
* Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Production and external partners to further promote our product portfolio
* Meet established company sales quota by obtaining, tracking and renewing orders
* Provides sales service activities
Your profile:
* Commercial apprenticeship or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Natural Sciences
* Initial professional experience in a similar role, ideally within a dynamic and international environment
* Strong communication skills and enjoyment in interacting with internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
* Proficient in MS Office applications, experience with SAP and Salesforce is advantageous
* Willingness to work during US time zones (5-6 pm)
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international team
* Customer-focused attitude, commercial mindset and service orientation
