Key Responsibilities
:
* Data Analysis
: Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that can drive business strategies.
* Model Development
: Design and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques to solve complex business problems.
* Data Visualization
: Create clear and compelling data visualizations to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
* Collaborate
: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and marketing, to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
* Data Cleaning & Preprocessing
: Handle and clean large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
* Optimization
: Continuously improve models and algorithms to enhance prediction accuracy and business outcomes.
* Tool Development
: Build automated tools and frameworks to streamline data analysis and reporting processes.
* Innovation
: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI to apply innovative techniques to business challenges.
Requirements
:
* Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role, ideally in a business environment.
* Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
* Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
* Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to explain complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
* Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in German and/or French is a plus.
* Must have the legal right to work in Switzerland (Swiss/EU passport or valid permit).
