* Development of mechanical and opto-mechanical system architecture of a complete product in the field of lidar and imaging optics
* Collaboration with physicists, electronics and mechanical engineers to develop a complete system
* Collaborating with product management, software engineers and other important stakeholders
* Design of opto-mechanic system architecture in Siemens NX
* Engage in technical negotiations with suppliers
* Interactions with suppliers and participation in processes to access component and assembly's manufacturability
* Design and validation of prototypes to series production
* Manage prototype- and product testing
* Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the R&D Team
This is you
* University background in mechanical engineering or equivalent
* A flair for number-crunching & theoretical aspects of mechanics / physics
* Familiar with ISO GPS and 3D design in CAD system
* Experience in opto-mechanics and sensorics is a plus
* Entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive attitude and a hands-on mentality
* Open-minded team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
* You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team using English and German
