Responsible for leading IT Quality Systems: This role is globally accountable for all plan, build, and run aspects of IT / OT systems used in quality labs and for quality assurance purposes. Acts as the IT Business Partner to the Business Function “Quality”.
Lead the global IT CoE Quality Systems: Responsible for staff-related tasks such as recruitment, development, performance evaluations, and salary reviews. Manages associated cost centers, including personnel and external service partners.
Gather and review IT needs: Collaborate with the Business Function “Quality” to advise on solutions, support project prioritization, and contribute to the project portfolio process. Steer the implementation of Quality systems solutions and serve as an escalation point.
Lifecycle management: Accountable for the lifecycle of Lab and QA systems, driving continuous improvement in functionality, stability, and performance. Oversee incident and problem tickets related to these systems.
Technical expertise: Support projects, changes, and maintenance of Lab and Quality Systems. Evaluate new technologies and assist in the selection and preparation of future systems.
Regulatory and security compliance: Ensure adherence to GMP regulations and IT security policies. Nominate system owners and ensure compliance with their responsibilities.
Stakeholder relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, build strategic alliances, and review/approve major contracts related to Lab and QA systems.
Additional duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Team structure: 2 direct reports, managing 6+ internal team members and external contractors.
Your profile:
Degree: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Master's in Business Administration, or equivalent.
Required certifications: IT Solution Specialist (Microsoft, others).
Preferred project management certifications: IPMA, Prince, others.
Experience in IT applications and/or infrastructure roles, with settled knowledge in Lab and QA systems such as CDS, EWB, Moda EM, WINKQCL, PLA, Softmax Pro, DMS, TrackWise, LSO / Cornerstone, or similar.
Leadership personality with significant experience (+ years).
Advanced IT Service Management expertise (5+ years).
