As a key member of our team, you'll be contributing to our vision of creating genuine, singular, and full-of-surprises experiences for every guest.
Your Role as Receptionist
As the first point of contact for our guests, you set the stage for what will be a remarkable stay, full of unexpected discoveries and personal connections.
* Guest Reception and Check-in/Check-out: Welcome guests upon arrival, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and provide assistance with any special requests with a personal touch.
* Introduce them to the Drei Berge Hotel experience and to the broader brand ecosystem of the group and to the village of Mürren.
* Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information on hotel services, local attractions, and transport options.
* Booking Management: Manage reservations via phone, email, or booking systems, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
* Concierge Duties: Assist guests with restaurant reservations, transport arrangements, and local recommendations to enhance their stay.
* Billing and Payments: Handle guest payments, issue invoices, and manage the daily cash register with attention to detail.
* Team Collaboration: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
* Problem-Solving: Address any guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring a positive resolution.
We're Looking for Someone with:
* Proven experience as a receptionist, customer service representative, or in a similar role in hospitality.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
* Fluent in German and English (additional languages are a plus).
* Familiarity with hotel booking software and basic computer skills.
* Flexibility and polyvalence to work shifts, including weekends and holidays and into different roles and responsibilities (if needed helping in the restaurant, supporting housekeeping…)
