Location: The position will be located in either Zug, Switzerland or within the EU & UK. Legal eligibility to work in the respective country is required; relocation will not be necessary.
Prerequisite is, in any case, your legal eligibility to work in the respective country and there will not be the need to relocate. An engaged and multinational team will be happy to introduce you in our environment.
The Role
As a Service Solution Architect in the Enterprise Business, you will play a decisive role in shaping profitable, outcome-based service agreements for our largest and most complex customers worldwide. This role sits at the intersection of sales, technology, and digital services and is critical during the bid and presales phase.
You act as the bridge between Enterprise Sales, Global Enterprise Customers (GEC), countries/LCBs, and the Digital Service Center (DSC)—translating customer challenges into scalable, digitally enabled lifecycle service solutions that are technically sound, commercially compelling, and executable.
This role is designed for a professional who combines consultative selling, deep building technology expertise, and hands on digital service know how to turn complexity into customer value and designing a winning Digital Service Solutions for Global Enterprise Customers.
Key responsibilities
Customer challenge translation & bid phase leadership
Collaborate with Account Managers to understand customer pain points and business goals during bids
Translate needs into structured, value-driven service solution concepts
Design comprehensive service agreements and lifecycle programs tailored to enterprise needs
Leverage digital, remote, analytics, and outcome-based service models
Technical architecture & installed base expertise
Develop scalable, technically sound solutions based on installed systems, data, and compatibility
Ensure alignment with cybersecurity, connectivity, and portfolio standards
Digital services & outcome-based solutions
Promote digital, cloud, and analytics-driven services including diagnostics and optimization
Drive adoption of outcome-based, performance-focused service contractsBalance scope, value, and cost while leading pricing for digital service offerings
Coordinate globally to ensure competitive, profitable, and differentiated proposals
Country, DSC & execution alignment
Align with countries and Digital Service Center to validate solutions and ensure smooth execution
Oversee estimates, delivery handover, and ongoing service ownership and reporting
Thought leadership & capability building
Engage customers with pre-sales thought leadership and strategic insights
Build internal capabilities through trainings, workshops, demos, and webinars
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Economics (or comparable)
5+ years of relevant experience (or 10+ years across diverse roles) in service solution design, presales, digital services, consulting, or enterprise B2B environments
Proven experience supporting enterprise bids and translating customer needs into commercial service solutions
Strong knowledge of Building Automation, HVAC, Fire Safety, Energy Systems, and lifecycle service models
Solid understanding of Digital Services, including remote services, cloud solutions, analytics, and data driven offerings
Expertise in OT/IT integration, building data analytics, and Fault Detection & Diagnostics
Strong technical and analytical capability to navigate complex systems and develop structured, solution-oriented approaches
Commercially astute with consultative skills, able to articulate clear value-driven, outcome-based propositions
Effective communicator and influencer across account teams, program managers, and senior stakeholders in global bid environments
Self-driven, resilient, and adaptable, with strong ownership and the ability to perform in fast-paced international settings
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Role may be home office based within Europe with global customer engagement
2–3 days per week of mobile working is standard
