Postdoctoral Researcher in Attention Sensing and Social Intelligence
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our project on understanding human social behavior in natural settings.
The successful candidate will contribute to the design of computational models for attention sensing and social intelligence, leveraging multiple cues to improve representation and performance. This includes refining gaze and attentiveness estimations, handling dynamic head gestures, integrating multiple cues, and creating in-the-wild datasets that encompass a range of social behavior.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement computational models for attention sensing and social intelligence
- Collaborate with PhD students to integrate existing datasets and devise new ones
- Develop and validate algorithms for gaze following and related behaviors
- Contribute to the creation of in-the-wild datasets for social behavior analysis
**Requirements**
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
