Position: Business Development Executive - Switzerland

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Sales team in Switzerland.

You will oversee the acquisition of customers across the Switzerland region. Your responsibilities include maximizing sales opportunities within assigned accounts, establishing productive relationships with key personnel, and analyzing and developing market potential.


Responsibilities:

1. Lead and develop new accounts.
2. Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients across all BioPharma markets.
3. Build a deep understanding of the customer's business, industry, strategic direction, and competitors.
4. Develop strategic, value-added partnerships with customers by working with key decision-makers and influencers to address long-term strategic issues and solutions.
5. Understand WC's capabilities and service/product offerings relevant to the customer.
6. Coordinate marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and seminars.
7. Identify, qualify, and prioritize potential opportunities related to accounts.
8. Engage regional WC operatives to identify opportunities for service positioning.
9. Collaborate with multi-functional departments to develop solutions for customers.
10. Deliver high-value, complex, and strategic solutions valued by customers.
11. Proactively monitor, manage, and improve quality through specific metrics, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
12. Identify risk areas and develop contingency plans.
13. Manage sales pipeline and track KPIs, including relationship management.


Requirements:

1. Languages: Fluent in English (essential), and German and/or French (essential).
2. 1-2 years of professional experience in business development, sales, or account management, or a sales-oriented intern aiming to grow in the field, or an entry-level candidate seeking their first BDE role.
3. Experience in logistics/transport sector and/or pharmaceutical/life sciences industry (desirable).
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong customer orientation and excellent communication/presentation skills, both verbal and written.
