Your Responsibilities
1. In this position, you are responsible for the daily management of a purchasing portfolio.
2. You are in charge of analyzing the portfolio, sorting offers, updating prices, and handling the related administrative tasks.
3. You manage relationships with suppliers: sourcing, RFQs, price negotiations, contract management, long-term agreements, business reviews, QDCF, etc.
4. You are responsible for supplier performance and for drafting reports.
5. You manage supplier-related risks, handle resulting crises, and implement corrective actions.
6. You coordinate supplier evaluations with the supplier quality management department and support audits.
7. You implement cost-reduction activities and ensure their follow-up.
8. You look for the best technical solutions to guarantee design-to-cost (DTC).
Your Profile
9. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, economics, management, project management, or purchasing.
10. You have 1 to 2 years of experience as a buyer in the automotive, construction equipment, aviation, or railway sectors.
11. You have good knowledge of French, German, and English.
12. You are proficient with an ERP system, SharePoint (intranet), and MS Office.
13. You are organized, flexible, have strong analytical skills, and an excellent ability to work in a team. You are open to developing your skills in the field and are results-oriented.
14. This position is subject to a background check, which is carried out through our partner Aequivalent.
