Our client is a leading Medical Technology company in Switzerland. It is headquartered in Central Switzerland and has a global network of production sites, subsidiaries and sales partners.
We are looking for a:
for a permanent role to be based in Central Switzerland area.
As a System Engineer, you will:
* Maintain the System Architecture : Collaborate closely with the project team to define and manage the system architecture of cutting-edge medical devices.
* Define Product Requirements : Identify system components, define their interfaces, and ensure alignment with key factors like patient safety, customer requirements, functionality, reliability, testability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration : Work in close cooperation with hardware, electronics, embedded software development teams, ensuring smooth integration across disciplines.
* Regulatory Compliance : Guarantee that the developed medical devices meet the required regulatory standards by planning and guiding the integration and verification activities.
* Risk Management: Actively participate in risk analysis in line with ISO 14971, identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks in collaboration with specialist departments.
What You Bring Along:
* A technical or scientific degree (B.Sc. FH, M.Sc. ETH or equivalent).
* Several years of experience in medical device development or regulated environments, with additional experience in software development considered a plus.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and the medical device development lifecycle.
* Fluent in written and spoken English and German – at least B2 level.
