We are looking for an Energy and Sustainability Services Marketing Manager to join our SI Building Business Unit within the SI S Marketing Team. Our shared journey could take you anywhere—where would you like to go?
Location: This position is based in Zug, Switzerland, or Munich, Germany. Legal eligibility to work in the respective country is required.
The Role
As a Global Marketing Manager for Energy and Sustainability Services, you will develop marketing strategies and content targeting Buildings and Industry customers worldwide. This role reports to the Head of Marketing for Verticals & Sustainability at Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings and collaborates closely with the SUS technical unit.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and own the marketing plan for SUS, including metrics and budget, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
* Align planning with the overarching Go-to-Market strategy.
* Articulate the value proposition and strategic narrative, positioning the entire portfolio of Energy and Sustainability Services.
* Lead the creation of compelling, customer-centric content for digital assets, sales collateral, whitepapers, and event storytelling.
* Utilize market, customer, and competitive insights to inform strategies and conduct research to generate actionable insights.
* Stay updated on industry trends, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
* Create and implement marketing strategies that can be translated into campaigns and tactics across regions.
* Position Siemens Xcelerator and identify growth opportunities, providing feedback through established channels.
* Apply best practices and benchmarking to marketing activities.
Your Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering; an MBA is a plus.
* At least 7 years of experience in Marketing, Strategy, Energy Engineering, or Management Consulting.
* Knowledge of energy and sustainability trends, including energy management, sustainability reporting, and carbon reduction.
* Understanding of vertical operations in sectors like Automotive, Higher Education, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, or Healthcare.
* Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies.
* Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; German or other European languages are advantageous.
