As a key member of the Retail Pricing, Data Science and Portfolio Analytics function, you will support delivery of the overall Group Retail Transformation initiative.
You will lead the acceleration of our Retail pricing capabilities across the Group, ensuring that our decision making is dynamic, data driven, customer centric, and risk based.
You will lead a high-performing team of pricing experts and collaborate closely with local pricing and underwriting teams across the globe to deliver outcomes that drive profitable growth and customer value. By fostering a R&D mindset, you will deliver cutting edge and scalable pricing solutions which make a real impact.
What you will do
1. Contribute to the central Retail Transformation team, shaping strategy and supporting global projects that enhance market competitiveness, profitability, customer retention, and product density.
2. Lead the implementation of high-value pricing projects across the value chain, working closely with local pricing and analytics teams—often onsite in countries.
3. Champion forward-thinking initiatives and promote innovation across Retail, delivering agile solutions that can be adapted to local market needs while preserving local uniqueness.
4. Build strong relationships with pricing and underwriting colleagues in BUs, regions, and across Group functions.
5. Coach and support colleagues, helping to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
What you bring
6. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related fields.
7. Qualified Actuary with a globally recognized actuarial association.
8. Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate, mentor, and build a high-performing team.
9. At least ten years of experience in retail pricing for P&C insurance, specific experience in motor pricing preferred.
10. Excellent understanding of state-of-the-art retail pricing methods including the use of modern technology as data lake, data bricks / snowflake, AWS sagemaker / Azure ML.
11. Strong proficiency in using WTW pricing software suite, including Radar Live.
12. Highly organised, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects (national and international) simultaneously.
13. Excellent communication skills (English, both written and spoken is essential; proficiency in additional languages is desirable), together with the ability to influence internal Group and local stakeholders at all levels.
14. Positive, “can-do” and adaptable attitude. A curious mindset i.e. an inquisitive way of thinking that includes investigation and experimentation.
15. A willingness to travel is required to support the international business units onsite.
