In this position, you will be responsible for defining, coordinating and executing mechanical design work packages in product development and R&D projects, with a focus on 3D CAD modelling and 2D technical drawing creation. You will work at the interface of product development, manufacturing quality and customer requirements, contributing to the continuous quality improvement of our products and processes.Your responsibilities:3D and 2D mechanical CAD design of turbocharger parts and assemblies using CATIA V6 / 3DXDevelopment of new turbocharger parts in interdisciplinary project teamsOptimize part designs and drawings with respect to cost targets, technical and supply chain requirements (design for manufacturing)Technical product support for our existing portfolio of turbochargersCollaborate with our core component development group to integrate new compressor and turbine stages into turbocharger productsContribute to the continuous improvement of our quality control processes and technical requirement specificationsYour background:MSc.
