Join our vibrant team in La Chaux-de-Fonds as Design to Cost Product Cost Engineering Intern for 6 months and be part of something extraordinary! /p pYour mission will be to support the analysis and reduction of product costs by identifying cost drivers, challenging design and process choices, and contributing to the deployment of Design to Cost methodologies across both movement and watch development. /p pYou will also contribute to defining and implementing costing standards and guidelines, ensuring a consistent and scalable approach to cost optimization across the organization. /p h3Your Contribution /h3 ul liAnalyze product cost structure and identify cost drivers /li liBreak down product costs (materials, components, labor, processes) /li liIdentify key cost drivers across movement manufacturing and watch assembly /li liAnalyze cost variations and benchmark similar products or components /li liSupport Design to Cost initiatives across development /li liContribute to Design to Cost projects across movement and watch development /li liChallenge design and industrial assumptions to identify cost optimization levers /li liSupport trade-off analysis between cost, quality, and performance /li liDefine and implement cost standards and best practices /li liDefine costing methodologies and standards for components, processes, and products /li liContribute to building cost libraries / reference models (e.g., components, operations) /li liStandardize assumptions used in cost calculations (labor time, process costs, etc.) /li liEnsure consistent cost approaches across teams (RD, Industrialization, Finance) /li liDocument and formalize Design to Cost guidelines and best practices /li liDevelop cost analysis and reporting toolsBuild and maintain cost models and analysis tools (Excel or similar) /li liDevelop dashboards to monitor cost performance and track savings initiatives /li liEnsure data consistency and reliability across systems /li liContribute to continuous improvement and cost culture /li liSupport the deployment of Design to Cost best practices /li liContribute to building a cost-awareness culture across teams /li liDocument methodologies and recommendations for future projects /li /ul pDo you think there is even more to discover in this role? You're right - apply today and learn more! /p h3You Will Fit Perfectly Into Our Squad If /h3 ul liYou have previous academic or internship experience in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or cost analysis is a strong advantage.
