Role Description
Sandmark is currently looking for a Product Owner to lead the technical and strategic roadmap of the Sandmark media platform. This person will drive the front-end user journeys, new feature implementation and strategic guidance on technical architecture. Your work will centralize feedback from all user channels and internal stakeholders to develop a product roadmap that is adapted for high growth and scalability.This role will work closely with marketing, editorial, and external teams to deliver a best-in-class digital experience.The role also involves monitoring competitive landscape and market trends, and ensuring products support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the Sandmark media platform, from ideation through development, launch, and iteration.
* Analyse customer needs and market trends to inform product development and continuously refine service offerings.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders, including leadership, editorial, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and prioritisation of features and capabilities that support the Sandmark mission.
* Collaborate with third-party agencies, vendors and partners to ensure the integration of services to create a seamless user experience.
* Define and manage the product roadmap and backlog through the management of the overall digital experience, including identification of friction points and bugs and prioritizing areas for optimization.
* Lead analytics and event tracking setup using GA4, GTM, Google Console, and other tools — and translate insights into product decisions.
* Coordinate implementation of SEO best practices, Core Web Vitals improvements, and structured content and provide monitoring and reporting on a regular basis.
Qualifications
You Bring:
* 7+ years in a product management or digital product ownership role
* Solid understanding of web development, CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress, headless CMS), and have demonstrated experience in creating high-performing websites.
* Significant experience in writing feature and design briefs, guiding product development, and ensuring execution through rigorous acceptance criteria.
* Experience working with/ leveraging AI capabilities to optimize workflows and create efficiencies in product design, maintenance and scaling.
* Experience leading developers, designers, and marketers in cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with tagging, tracking, and optimising user journey analytics.
* Ability to define and execute product strategies that align with both customer needs and business goals, driving both innovation and profitability.
* Understanding of DNS, hosting, SSL Certificates, CDN and web best practices.
* Work closely with developers to plan, prioritize, and QA new features, performance upgrades, and integrations.
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience working in a start-up environment with proven knowledge of best practices to support success and scaling.
* Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, or similar tools.
* Familiarity with Drupal, Cloudflare and Stape.
* Understanding and/or experience of the crypto industry and related technologies.Ability to create user-centric design and features to address user needs.
* Experience working with advertising platforms, payment processing, and affiliate networks.
* Entrepreneurial spirit – able to rapidly adapt and assess new ideas with clear criteria for their viability.
* Bonus: Experience in media publishing environments
