Must-have Skills
* Experience in programming C#/C++/C/Python/Block programming for industrial automation systems.
* Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, physical properties of electricity, and circuit parameter calculation formulas.
* Deep understanding of standard sensors used in industrial automation for manufacturing and safety.
* Ability to assemble complex mechatronic systems and understand mechanical errors and electrical risks.
* Understanding of IEC 60601-1 standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for product development from concept to market launch.
* Conduct and support product verification testing.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify customer needs and develop ergonomic solutions.
* Develop testing methods and protocols.
* Support engineering efforts and propose technical solutions.
* Design fixtures/instruments for testing using various manufacturing techniques.
* Research and test new equipment and materials.
* Optimize product weight and dimensions.
* Handle EMI gasket installation and coating debugging.
* Design external dimensions and PCB mounting solutions in collaboration with EE and MCAD.
* Select components compliant with IEC60601-1.
Qualifications
* PhD or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related.
* Strong documentation and reporting skills.
* Deep knowledge in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, mechanics, electronics.
* Experience in designing industrial automation or embedded systems in medical equipment.
* Proficiency in Fusion360/AutoCAD/SolidWorks with 8+ years of experience.
* Understanding of mechanical principles, materials, manufacturing processes.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Deep understanding of IEC60601-1 standard.
* Knowledge of power connector market and component selection.
* Experience with Ansys (5+ years) and mathematical environments like MatLab (8+ years).
* Experience with medical device simulation, certification, and tolerance analysis.
* Proficiency in GD&T and creating 2D drawings.
* Manual and automated metal processing experience.
* Ability to provide detailed examples of certified medical devices and simulation results.
* Must provide recommendation letters and have at least 2 publications or patents.
