About Our Client
Our client, an international organization experiencing dynamic growth, is seeking a Lead HR Business Partner to join their Swiss operations. This is a high-impact, strategic HR leadership role, acting as the primary advisor to senior management and employees across the business. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving organisational effectiveness, talent development, and HR operational excellence, while contributing to the broader strategic direction of the company. We are looking for an experienced BP to join the team from October until August next year to help cover a maternity leave.
Job Description
1. Act as a strategic partner to senior functional leaders, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture aligned with the organisation's values and growth objectives.
2. Provide dedicated support to managers and employees to strengthen engagement, performance, and overall team effectiveness.
3. Lead key people initiatives including workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, talent development, succession planning, and organisational change.
4. Assess current team capabilities and work with leadership to identify and bridge skill gaps through targeted development and learning initiatives.
5. Take ownership of the full employee journey, ensuring a consistent and meaningful experience across performance, career progression, and engagement processes.
6. Serve as a trusted advisor on complex HR topics, balancing risk management with business priorities to resolve employee matters effectively.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the talent acquisition team to define future workforce needs and implement recruitment strategies that attract and retain top talent.
8. Monitor and report on key HR metrics, offering data-driven insights to inform leadership decisions and continuous improvement.
9. Champion process excellence and support the optimisation of HR workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
10. Actively promote a strong organisational culture during a period of transformation and accelerated growth.
11. Guide leaders through change management initiatives, fostering transparency, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
12. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
The Successful Applicant
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 8 years' experience in a progressive HR Business Partner or Generalist role within a dynamic and international environment.
3. Proven ability to influence at senior leadership level, with a track record of driving people strategies that support business growth.
4. Strong background in key HR disciplines including talent management, employee engagement, performance and development.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organisation.
6. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on delivery.
7. Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.
8. Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
