Your tasks and responsibilities: Build and develop profitable business relationships with both existing and new clients in Switzerland. Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships, foster trust and initiate new projects. Implement a proactive sales approach, including cold calling to identify new clients and business opportunities. Ensure a robust project pipeline and maintain accurate documentation in the CRM system (Salesforce). Collaborate closely with local customer service team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Set the annual budget in alignment with the European business unit and the local IMCD site, taking responsibility to customers pricing. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for assigned suppliers and portfolios, ensuring successful execution. Acquire in-depth product knowledge of the assigned portfolio to assist clients with technical challenges. Stay updated on market trends and conduct continuous market analysis to offer strategic recommendations for product management. Participate in trade fairs and customer seminars to strengthen client relationships and enhance industry expertise. Build a strong internal network within the IMCD Group by collaborating with key stakeholders, including sales managers, technical teams, and customer service. Your competencies and qualities: Academic background with a focus on nutrition, food or health (e.g. nutritional sciences or food technology) or commercial background with relevant experience in the food and/or health industry 3-5 years of experience in specialty food ingredients, with responsibilities in business, marketing, or sales.
