What you will do
Digital Wave Finance is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate System Administrator with a degree in IT (or similar). We are a young firm in the heart of Switzerland. We build next-generation trading strategies and systems based on sound mathematical models.
Main Responsibilities
Manage Ubuntu Linux systems in data center and cloud VPCs
Install, provision and configure Linux servers
Troubleshoot hardware, system and application issues
Implement systems/network/performance monitoring
Improve on infrastructure and security
Requirements
Strong grasp on Linux OS
Automation and configuration management using Ansible, Terraform
Understanding of Ethernet/IP networking and related protocols
Experience with NFS/Ceph storage
Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes containerization
Basic understanding of SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value DBs
Scripting in Bash, Python
Basic comprehension of C/C++
CI/CD: Gitlab, Jenkins
