Responsibilities
* Collaborate on an EU Horizon project together with international partners
* Develop conversion routes for plant biomass
* Chemically characterize intermediate products of the conversion pathways
* Optimize a novel bio-based adhesive system based on non-isocyanate polyurethane (NIPU) chemistry
* Publish your results in scientific peer-reviewed journals and write a dissertation based at the University of Göttingen
Qualifications
* Master's degree in wood technology, materials sciences, chemistry, or a related field
* Experience in wood chemistry and polymer chemistry
* Strong interest in interdisciplinary research and innovation
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
* Fluency in English (written and spoken), knowledge of German or French an advantage
