We are looking for a skilled and business-minded Sales Manager – Licensing and Technology Transfer to join our client’s marketing and sales department in Thun. In this role, you’ll act as the strategic interface between key partners and internal teams, supporting licensing agreements and identifying new opportunities in core technology fields.
What You’ll Do
Develop and manage licensing contracts for innovative products
Identify and reduce business risks while supporting long-term partner success
Evaluate and pursue new business ideas in the client’s core competencies
Draft, present, and negotiate offers and commercial agreements
Ensure proper contract execution and compliance with internal guidelines
Support planning, budgeting, and sales forecasts
Represent the company at trade fairs and customer events
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field
Additional training in IP management, contract law, or international business
Several years of experience in sales, negotiation, and business development
Strong understanding of licensing models, technology transfer, and IP
Confident use of MS Office, CRM systems (e.g. MS CRM), and ERP (e.g. IFS)
Willingness to travel across Europe (approx. 20–30%)
Fluency in German and English is required (C1 level)
