Position Overview:
You will be a Credit Analyst within the Developed Market Corporate Bond Team focusing on High Yield bonds. This position requires thorough fundamental credit analysis of leveraged capital structures. As a member of the team, you are expected to actively cover your assigned sectors and proactively provide investment recommendations to the portfolio manager of the High Yield strategies as well as other Corporate Bond strategies.
Responsibilities:
* Perform comprehensive fundamental credit and relative value analysis across sectors for USD and EUR issuers across the High Yield universe.
* Provide timely and action-oriented investment recommendations verbally and in writing.
* Develop relationships with the management of issuers, sell-side analysts, and other market participants.
* Attend conferences and visit issuers as appropriate.
Qualifications:
* University Degree, CFA or similar preferred.
* Established and demonstrable track record as a high yield credit analyst with a minimum experience of 5 years, preferably on the buy-side.
* Experience in ESG analysis.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and recommendations.
* Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to set priorities.
* Good language skills in both English and German – or a strong motivation to learn German.
* EU or Swiss passport holders due to work permit regulations is a MUST!
