Job Purpose
The position reports to the Project Management Organization at Straumann Group with the following main tasks:
* Lead projects/programs developing business models, clinical workflows, and/or medical devices from idea creation to market launch.
* Define, implement, and maintain project/program scope; develop timelines, budgets, and resource needs in collaboration with the project team.
* Coordinate and lead interdisciplinary project teams with broad stakeholder management within the Straumann Group.
* Proactively monitor performance (timeline, quality, budget, resources).
* Address performance gaps by removing obstacles and redirecting efforts in collaboration with internal and external partners.
* Improve current products and processes based on company strategy.
* Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards while managing projects within the Group.
* Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
* Perform risk analysis and enforce regulatory compliance.
* Support business process improvements, e.g., PDP and LP.
* Collaborate with various internal and external partners, including Workflow development, #Tech, Connected Customer Solutions, and external business development companies.

Education
* Engineering, bioengineering, or life sciences degree at university level.
* MBA or equivalent postgraduate diploma is a plus.
* PhD is a plus.
* Project Management certification (Waterfall and Agile) is advantageous.
Experience
* Minimum of 3 years in medical device development or project leadership for medical devices.
Key Skills and Experience
* Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies in enterprise-level application development.
* Proven ability to lead software and hardware development projects.
* Experience with iterative development and market feedback.
* Co-development with customers.
* Collaborative problem-solving skills.
Regulatory and Standards Knowledge
* Applicable standards (MDD/MDR, FDA, ISO).
* Design control and Product Development Processes.
