This position reports to: Service Team Leader __ Your Role and Responsibilities As a Service Coordinator (f/m/d), you play a key role in planning and coordinating service activities for UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems within the Electrification business in Switzerland. You ensure that the right resources, spare parts, and logistics are available at the right time and place, enabling smooth and efficient service execution on site. In this role, you report to the Head of the Support Team and act as the main point of contact for our customers during the execution of service orders. You actively contribute to maximizing customer satisfaction by reliably meeting all contractual obligations and individual customer requirements. Working model: Hybrid This position is part of the Electrification, Smart Power business unit and is based in Baden, Aargau. Your Responsibilities Planning, scheduling, and coordinating service technicians across Switzerland, considering availability, qualifications, proximity, and urgency Organizing and managing service orders such as maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning activities Close coordination and communication with customers and the service team to ensure efficient planning and execution of daily service activities Acting as a central interface while continuously monitoring resource planning and responding flexibly to changes, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business outcomes Your Profile Completed technical or commercial training At least 3 years of professional experience in service planning, for example as a Service Dispatcher or Service Coordinator in a similar role Solid knowledge and hands‑on experience in the maintenance, servicing, commissioning, and repair of electrical equipment or systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident user of MS Office and ERP systems, ideally SAP Fluency in German (written and spoken) is required; English and French are an advantage, and Italian skills are a plus More About Us ABB Smart Power provides innovative solutions for energy distribution in data centers, industrial and manufacturing facilities, critical infrastructure, and commercial buildings.
