**Marketing Operations Manager (m/f/d)**
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Manager to support one of the most prestigious sporting events – the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship.
This role involves working with top sponsors, international federations, and dedicated event teams to ensure every brand experience is seamless, exciting, and impactful.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), local Organising Committees, service providers, and sponsors.
* Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors and partners regarding marketing operations.
* Coordinate internal teams, including marketing, media, and digital, to ensure smooth execution.
* Assist in organizing and executing sponsor ticketing and VIP Voucher programs.
* Lead the recruitment, scheduling, and briefing of hospitality hostesses and supervise them on-site during events.
* Plan and execute sub-events related to the IIHF project, such as sponsor workshops.
* Coordinate re-invoicing processes for partners and sponsors in collaboration with the Finance team.
* Support the marketing photography project and production process for official team advertising.
* Be an active part of on-site marketing operations implementation during the IIHF WM.
* Provide assistance to the marketing operations team in other tasks related to the IIHF project.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* 2-3 years of experience in marketing and events, with an advanced degree in marketing, event management, or a related field.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work confidently and clearly with diverse stakeholders.
* A strong customer service orientation, excellent organizational skills, and a structured mindset.
* The ability to stay calm under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ideal experience in account management and event ticketing.
* Fluency in English and German, with additional languages being a plus.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
