Position Summary
Account Manager in Engine Services – You will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple customer accounts, execution of contractual obligations for maintenance services in Zurich, and will drive the company’s revenue and P&L targets for each account in coordination with Product Management and Sales. You will communicate with customers on commercial, engine turnaround time (TAT) and parts exchange matters, and trigger internal and external escalation when required. The role maintains, develops and expands customer relationships, prepares and coordinates visits (on site in ZRH or at customer facilities), and performs related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Take P&L responsibility of assigned customer accounts and provide recommendations to Head of Account Management, VP Commercial and Head of Business Unit. Ensure profitability of the shop visit within contractual boundaries.
* Participate in contract handover meetings with Product Management, identify and analyse contractual risks and initiate mitigation actions.
* Be the main point of contact for the customer, handle feedback, organise and coordinate customer review meetings, and conduct Closing‑the‑Loop reviews after engine shop visits.
* Lead kick‑off meetings for new engine shop visits, provide accurate engine delivery information for induction slot planning, and coordinate Table Inspections with the customer.
* Offer part replacements and exchanges to the customer, and communicate financial aspects of such exchanges.
* Issue Preliminary Invoices based on shop visit price estimation, review Main/Final Invoices, build and release accruals for discounts, incentives, marketing/agency fees, TAT penalties, warranty risks and potential invoice disputes, and resolve disputes with customers.
* Lead and support the cash collection process in collaboration with Sales.
Required Profile
* Commercial or Technical degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 3 years of commercial or/or technical experience in the MRO industry.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer‑facing position in the MRO industry.
* Strong understanding of the MRO or related aerospace business.
* Strong business acumen and contract understanding.
* Strong communication, negotiation and intercultural awareness skills.
* Fluency in English.
