Job description
Lead the manufacturing of display modules in a high-mix, small/mid-series environment. Ensure operational efficiency, quality, and delivery, while adapting to limited forecast visibility and dynamic production needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
People Leader / Team Manager:
1. Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team (operators, team leaders, maintenance).
2. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
3. Ensure training and certification of production staff on processes and equipment.
4. Represent production internally; build strong cross-functional relationships.
5. Manage team performance, goals, resources, and budgets.
Production Operations
6. Oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
7. Translate production plans into operational schedules and organize shift planning. Ensure polyvalency of the production staff
8. Support new product introduction with a focus on manufacturability and secure “Safe Launch.”
9. Continuously improving production processes and workstation ergonomics.
Quality & OPS Reliability
10. Work with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues, reduce defects, and drive yield improvement.
11. Implement corrective and preventive actions (RCA/CAPA)
12. Monitor and act on KPIs (OEE, productivity, yield, scrap, delivery).
13. Lead preventive maintenance and ensure adherence to process controls and documentation.
14. Ensure the effectiveness of OQC and compliance with process flows, change management procedures, and work instructions.
15. Ensure compliance with EM’s quality system.
Planning & Coordination
16. Align with Supply Chain on material availability and schedule adherence.
17. Drive capacity planning aligned with business growth.
18. Ensure accurate tracking via MES/ERP systems.
