Description
Position Summary
As a growth-obsessed Director of Expansion, role swiftly executes multi-year expansion plans through development of systems and strategies, analysis of data driven insights and cross-functional leadership and supports growth through acquisition activities
* Create rolling 3-year growth plan that supports development and implementation of a robust and consistent plan for regional and national expansion, completing market research and assessments driving new clinic location selection.
* Analyze market trends, payer and reimbursement dynamics, competitive landscapes, and patient needs to inform growth strategies.
* Drive day-to-day execution to successfully launch and grow in new markets; drive conversations related to design, construction, or expansion barriers, providing solutions.
* Research and procure sites in accordance with ADVENT site selection criteria; serve as primary contact with real estate brokers.
* Assist with due diligence activities related to acquisition targets, as needed.
* Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project objectives and timelines.
* Hold cross-functional knowledge to understand expansion's impact on departments and guide where needed to keep projects on track.
* Forecast effectively to drive predictable revenue, establish KPIs and report on improvement results; run proforma financial analysis on potential locations and develop and manage budgets related to expansion activities.
* Ensure payer contracting and surgeon recruiting efforts are on track to support expansion goals.
* Work cross functionally to build/sustain sustainable internal launch processes.
* Translate vision into execution and affect change across people, processes, technology, etc.
* Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders; serve as the core spokesperson for expansion, presenting reports on progress, problems and solutions.
* Oversee and manage all location cloud-based tools including GANTT Chart, master supply list, capital budget and reporting dashboards. Identify, propose, and implement continual improvements to drive process efficiency, scalability and innovation within the scope of your work that enhances our ability to achieve the ADVENT vision.
* Support the overall success of the organization and perform other related duties as requested by leadership.
* Plan and adapt with business growth and strategy, cross-training where necessary to accommodate different situations and locations.
* Follow all legal and compliance requirements, including HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient privacy.
* Design and direct the work of the functional area. Select, coach and develop staff and leadership team, aligning structure and initiatives with company strategy.
* Set clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team with appropriate urgency and clarity to drive company and growth initiatives.
* Manage organizational talent through performance management, succession planning and development.
* Design and direct processes by which team and individual performance are recognized, feedback is consistently delivered and performance is systematically improved.
Skills And Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business with a minimum of 5 years in business expansion or development. Health
care expansion experience desirable.
* Strong experience with large scale expansion efforts, leading a diverse cross functional team to
accomplish expansion goals.
* 5 to 7 years' experience managing complex projects with demonstrated project management skills.
* Excellent problem solver and critical thinker.
* Highly analytical with ability to interpret data and draw effective conclusions and plans.
