We're seeking a dynamic and driven Software Solution Sales Executive to spearhead new business growth and win major accounts across the energy industry. This is a senior "hunter" role for someone with a proven track record in complex B2B SaaS sales, particularly in energy or data-driven environments.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial success, mentoring junior colleagues, and positioning Procode as a thought leader in energy technology.
Your Responsibilities
* New Business Generation: Identify and close high-value opportunities with energy sector clients.
* Pipeline Leadership: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently exceeding targets.
* Strategic Prospecting: Leverage market intelligence and networking to uncover new business.
* Solution Selling: Tailor Procode's SaaS and data solutions to meet complex client needs.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Development, Marketing, and Support teams.
* Industry Representation: Attend and speak at key industry events and conferences.
* Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and strategic insights.
* Market Intelligence: Share competitor and customer feedback to inform strategy.
* Mentorship: Coach and support junior sales team members to elevate performance.
What You'll Bring
* Proven track record in end-to-end B2B SaaS and data technology sales.
* Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
* Demonstrated ability to win business in competitive environments (RFPs, tenders).
* Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.
* Technical aptitude to understand and articulate product architecture and USPs.
* Advanced CRM and pipeline management skills.
* Experience mentoring sales colleagues is highly desirable.
* Deep understanding of energy industry trends and regulatory challenges (preferred).
