What does the recruitment process look like?
Here’s how we hire in stores:

2. Intro call: A quick chat with our team to hear your story and tell you more about us.
3. Store visit: Meet the team, see the store and eye test rooms, and get a real feel for the role. During this visit, we also check the technical skills required for the role.
4. The finale: If it’s a mutual yes, we’ll send you an offer. Now it's time to celebrate!
Will I receive training and support as an optician?
Yes – from day one, you’ll get tailored onboarding, access to our learning hub and ongoing training on lenses, products, and customer care. We also support certification programs and specialist training, including financial support where possible, to help you grow your career.
What career growth opportunities are available for opticians?
We support internal mobility, specialist tracks and leadership development. From training as a Refractionist (where applicable) or certified Optician, to advancing to Head Optician or dual roles, there are clear paths to grow in-store.
