The person will lead and support the Accounting Team, ensure high-quality financial operations and play an important role as a Finance Key User / Key Contributor in our upcoming SAP S/4HANA implementation.We are looking for someone with a cool head, warm heart, open mind and clean hands — someone who brings structure, integrity, team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility.Your ResponsibilitiesLead, support and further develop the Accounting Team in daily operations, closing activities and process improvementsTake ownership of key accounting processes across general ledger, accounts payable, payments, reconciliations, accruals and reportingEnsure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, payroll postings, freight cost accruals, tax accruals, currency revaluation and intercompany postingsPrepare and review trial balance, balance sheet and profit & loss information for Controlling, Finance and Management ReportingOversee reporting activities, including finance reports, management reports and consolidated reporting inputCoordinate and review accounts payable processes, payment runs, internal transfers and intercompany paymentsEnsure reliable reconciliation of bank accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, VAT accounts, accrual accounts and other balance sheet positionsManage and review VAT-related processes for Switzerland, Germany and Italy, including Intrastat coordination and collaboration with external advisorsPrepare and coordinate documentation for external audits, tax audits, VAT audits and social security auditsAct as a central contact person for auditors, tax advisors, Controlling, Finance and internal stakeholdersDrive transparency, standardization and process discipline within the Accounting functionIdentify improvement opportunities and support the development of a more scalable, future-ready Finance & Accounting organizationAct as a key Finance representative in the upcoming SAP S/4HANA implementation, including process design, data quality, documentation, testing, migration support and user readinessSupport the team through change, ensuring clear responsibilities, clean workflows and strong digital foundations for the futureYour ProfileSeveral years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an international industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts payable, VAT, month-end and year-end closing processesExperience in leading, coordinating or developing an accounting teamSolid understanding of reconciliations, accruals, intercompany postings and financial reportingExperience with VAT topics in Switzerland, Germany and/or Italy is a strong advantageStrong process mindset with interest in digitalization, ERP implementation and continuous improvementERP experience is required; SAP experience and/or SAP S/4HANA project exposure is a strong advantageStructured, accurate and hands-on working style with a high level of ownershipStrong communication skills and the ability to work confidently with internal and external stakeholdersVery good English skills are required due to the international reporting environmentGerman skills are an advantageHigh level of integrity, confidentiality and accountabilityWhat We OfferA key leadership role in an international Finance & Accounting environmentThe opportunity to actively shape and future-proof our Accounting organizationA central role in the preparation and implementation of SAP S/4HANAA broad and hands-on scope with real ownership and visibilityClose collaboration with Finance, Controlling, Management and external partnersThe chance to build stronger structures, cleaner processes and a scalable finance set-upA company culture based on trust, accountability and our Wintipak SpiritJoin UsIf you are an experienced accounting professional with leadership skills, strong ownership and the motivation to help build a future-ready Finance & Accounting organization, we would be happy to hear from you.At Wintipak, we pack the future – together.Contact in the HR Schüller jid40e591fa jit0521a jiy26a
