About the role
We are currently seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad.
What you will do
* Provide day-to-day operational support and administration of IAM environments across development, testing, and production.
* Monitor platform health, troubleshoot authentication and federation issues, and ensure system reliability and performance.
* Perform maintenance activities including patching, certificate renewals, backups, and platform upgrades.
* Support the migration of applications and services to centralized IAM and cloud-based federation solutions.
* Configure and maintain integrations using OIDC, SAML, and policy agents.
* Collaborate with application teams to define access requirements and validate end-to-end authentication flows.
* Ensure IAM configurations align with security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
* Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials.
Technical Skills required
* BSc's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
* 10+ years of professional IT experience, with at least 6 years in as an Identity and Access Management role.
* Strong experience managing application infrastructure, cloud platforms, and hybrid datacenter/cloud environments.
* Hands‑on expertise with ForgeRock OpenAM, including OIDC, SAML2, WS‑Fed, policy agents, authentication trees/nodes, and custom Java‑based authentication modules.
* Experience managing OpenLDAP and OpenDJ directory services, including replication monitoring and user/group administration.
* Proven experience migrating legacy authentication chains/modules to modern IAM authentication flows.
* Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems and LDAP backends.
* Solid Linux systems administration experience and support of Linux-hosted applications.
* Experience with AWS services and cloud-hosted application environments.
* Experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and platform upgrades.
* Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication, integration, and application‑related issues.
* Good understanding of application development processes and production support environments.
* Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
