Role Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager in international plant engineering to support our sales team at the headquarters in Muttenz/BL. The role involves managing projects from basic design through acceptance and handover of the plant to the customer, while being responsible for all technical and commercial matters.
Responsibilities
* Manage projects from basic design through acceptance and handover of the plant to the customer.
* Serve as the main contact person for all internal and external stakeholders.
* Clarify technical details with internal departments (design, process development, sales, control technology, logistics, purchasing, etc.), suppliers, and customers.
* Maintain responsibility for project deadlines and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
* Organise internal and external status meetings.
* Design and specify instrumentation and technical equipment.
* Supervise construction and pipework planning prepared by external partners.
* Coordinate construction site activities at the head office with on‑site managers.
* Occasional travel to international customers (maximum 10% of working time).
Qualifications
* Graduate engineer (technical college/university) in process engineering or mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
* Several years of experience as a project manager in plant engineering.
* Comfortable working in an international environment with different cultures.
* Fluent in English, both written and oral.
* Ability to perform technical work and handle routine tasks.
* The ability to make decisions and represent and enforce them appropriately.
