Our Risk team is an independent function, working closely with the Metals and Coal trading desks to make sure that the risk-reward of our trading books are properly balanced. Graduates who join this team have the chance to work across different areas of risk management, such as product, market, and credit risk.
Risk managers at Glencore maintain physical and derivative exposure whilst assessing the accuracy and validity of mark-to-markets in order to produce profit and loss reports and risk metrics. They provide analysis, ensuring that hedging is executed in line with our trading teams’ strategy.
Who we look for:
We are looking for students who are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in STEM, Finance, Economics or similar, and are available to start in 2026. We welcome graduates to start anytime from January through to December, based on your availability.
