About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical
Data Scientist
to join our growing data and analytics team in Switzerland.
In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to extract insights from large datasets and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about turning data into actionable strategies that generate measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop
machine learning models, predictive analytics, and data-driven solutions
for business challenges.
* Perform
data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering
on large, structured and unstructured datasets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, marketing, finance) to translate data insights into business strategies.
* Develop
data visualization dashboards and reports
using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries.
* Conduct
exploratory data analysis (EDA)
to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
* Implement, evaluate, and monitor
statistical and machine learning models
in production environments.
* Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data quality, accessibility, and scalability.
* Communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies and methods in AI, ML, and data science.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (PhD preferred).
* 3–6 years of experience in
data science, analytics, or machine learning
.
* Strong programming skills in
Python
(pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
* Solid understanding of
statistics, probability, and model evaluation techniques
.
* Experience with
SQL and data query optimization
.
* Proficiency in
data visualization tools
(Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn).
* Familiarity with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP) and
big data technologies
(Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
* Fluent in
English
