The Senior IT Business Analyst owns the architecture and evolution of ONWARD's core business applications while embedding operational rigor and compliance discipline into every solution. This role ensures our ERP/CRM ecosystem enables rapid innovation without compromising the security and controls required in medical device manufacturing, and financials.
Responsibilities
Solution Design
* Act as the Application Owner for ERP and CRM platforms, managing the application roadmap, feature prioritization, and lifecycle decisions.
* Govern platform architecture and data models, ensuring scalability and alignment with business processes
* across Commercial, Operations, and R&D functions.
* Evaluate new modules, features, and third-party solutions.
* Own the business case and vendor assessment process.
* Gather, document, and validate complex business requirements, translating operational needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
* Design optimized workflows and application configurations that balance user experience, compliance requirements, and technical feasibility.
* Create and maintain application documentation, process maps, and data dictionaries that serve as the single source of truth.
Technical Development & Configuration
* Develop, test, and deploy code solutions (SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and proprietary ERP/CRM languages) to extend platform functionality beyond standard configurations.
* Build and maintain integrations, APIs, and data pipelines between business systems.
* Write scripts to automate workflows and reduce manual effort.
* Debug production issues at the code level, performing root cause analysis on failed integrations, data anomalies, and performance bottlenecks.
Delivery & Continuous Improvement
* Lead cross functional change initiatives from conception through deployment, coordinating UAT, release planning, and post go live stabilization.
* Drive application optimization efforts, identifying bottlenecks, reducing technical debt, and enhancing system performance.
* Ensure reliable operation of integrations, APIs, and data pipelines between core business applications
* Troubleshoot flow failures and architect resilient automation.
Innovation & AI Enablement
* Identify high-value opportunities for AI and advanced automation (copilots, predictive analytics, intelligent workflow automation) within our ERP/CRM ecosystem.
* Identify and deploy AI-powered solutions that reduce manual effort.
Audit & Compliance Management
* Execute ITGC tasks under IT Leadership direction.
* Manage evidence repositories with full traceability.
* Prepare control documentation, maintain accuracy standards, and monitor compliance alignment with various regulations and internal policies.
* Coordinate internal and external audits.
* Identify control gaps and support remediation efforts led by IT Leadership direction.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
* Serve as embedded IT partner to Commercial, Operations, and R&D.
* Facilitate workshops, clarify priorities, and align technology solutions with business objectives.
* Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and solution quality.
* Coordinate cross-functional integration initiatives and drive user adoption programs.
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Informatics, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Developer with hands-on coding and scripting experience (SQL, Python, JavaScript, or proprietary ERP/CRM languages).
* Specific experience with Salesforce and Business Central.
* Hands-on experience with application development and system configurations (ERP, CRM, and similar business applications).
* Experience delivering solutions through full SDLC, including writing technical specifications, building integrations/APIs, and leading UAT.
* Fluent in English, French is a plus.
* Exposure to project
management methodologies and Product Owner responsibilities.
* Familiarity with AI/automation tools (Copilots, Power Platform, RPA) within business applications.
* Information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and vulnerability management exposure.
