To complement our team, we are looking for a customer‑ and team‑oriented individual for the business area Group Functions at the Flamatt site as an IT Network & Virtualization Engineer 80-100%

In the Group Functions, we support the market‑oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow – in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.
What You Will Do
* Design and implement advanced network concepts, including segmentation and Network Access Control (NAC)
* Proactive management of component lifecycles, including upgrades, replacements, and project‑driven improvements
* Operation and maintenance of the global firewall landscape in close collaboration with IT Security
* Enhancement of site‑to‑site and partner connectivity
* Provisioning, management, and optimization of hypervisors and administration of NetApp storage systems, including backup portfolio maintenance
What You Bring
* Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (routing, switching, segmentation, NAC)
* Hands‑on experience with firewall technologies (e.g. Forcepoint or similar)
* Proficiency with hypervisors (Hyper‑V, Proxmox) and enterprise storage (NetApp desirable)
* Familiarity with backup solutions (Veeam or similar), experience with Azure Virtual WAN is a plus
* Analytical problem‑solving, structured documentation skills, and cross‑team collaboration skills
* English proficiency is required, solid German skills are an advantage
