We are partnering exclusively with a leading bank to recruit a Junior Legal Counsel into its in-house legal team. This is a rare opportunity for a recent Swiss law graduate (or someone with up to 2 years of experience) to gain in-depth exposure to legal matters within the banking and financial services sector.
You’ll join a knowledgeable legal department that plays a key role in supporting the bank’s regulatory, investment, and operational activities—providing the perfect environment to develop your legal and commercial skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation and review of legal documentation, including investment-related agreements and compliance materials
* Support internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory queries
* Conduct research on banking law, investment regulation, and financial market developments
* Help manage relationships with external law firms and contribute to internal legal processes
* Participate in projects linked to governance, risk, and regulatory change
Ideal Profile:
* Master’s degree in Swiss law (recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience)
* Strong interest in banking, finance, or capital markets law
* Organised, proactive, and eager to work in a structured and professional legal environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Fluent in English & German.
