Role Overview

The Global Head of Sales will be responsible for driving and executing Smart Wealth’s global sales strategy. This includes cultivating and expanding relationships with institutional investors, family offices, fund distribution platforms, and regional distribution partners. The role is key to achieving the ICAV’s targeted growth in assets under management (AUM) and enhancing Smart Wealth’s market presence across Europe and internationally.

Requirements

·Minimum of 10 years in a senior sales leadership role (e.g., Global Head of Sales, Head of Sales EMEA or APAC) within a top-tier fund management company.

·Proven track record of raising a minimum of $500 million in Alternative Investment Funds (AIF).

·Strong and established network with institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, fund managers, HNWIs, trusts, foundations, and private banks.

·Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a collaborative and communicative management style.

·Language Proficiency: C2 level in both English and German; fluency in French, Italian, Spanish, or Cantonese is a plus.

·Strong digital literacy: Proficient in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, and HubSpot.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership, Sales Performance & Reporting

·Oversee global fund distribution strategy and operations.

·Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and distribution partners globally.

·Implement and adapt Smart Wealth’s sales strategy to align with organizational growth goals.

·Promote Smart Wealth’s brand across key global markets to boost visibility and investor trust.

·Achieve AUM targets as defined by the Board:

- 2026: $190M (Europe $100M)

- 2027: $330M (Europe $150M)

- 2028: $495M (Europe $210M)

- 2029: $700M (Europe $300M)

- 2030: $1.07B (Europe $500M)

·Maintain detailed sales funnel reports and track client engagements, targets, and AUM performance.

·Analyze market trends and competitor insights to inform strategy.

·Provide regular updates to the CEO on progress, roadblocks, and new opportunities.

·Provide quarterly updates to the Board on AUM growth and sales and distribution progress.

Client and Partner Engagement

·Serve as a senior relationship manager for key institutional clients and partners.

·Support external relationship managers with sales materials and customized fund solutions.

·Ensure seamless onboarding for new investors and distribution partners.

Market Development & Expansion

·Lead Smart Wealth’s strategic expansion across Europe and globally.

·Identify and engage high-value institutional investors and distribution channels.

·Travel internationally to establish distribution infrastructure and partnerships.

·Assist in building and hiring the European sales team.

·Monitor global market and regulatory developments to spot emerging opportunities.

·Represent Smart Wealth at key conferences, investor events, and networking sessions.

CRM System & Client Communication

·Drive adoption and effective use of HubSpot CRM for sales and investor management.

·Customize CRM workflows for Smart Wealth’s needs.

·Design and refine email marketing flows to enhance engagement and conversion rates.

·Ensure timely preparation and delivery of client reports with tailored content and layout.
