We are looking for a full stack software engineer to strengthen our software team. In this challenging position, you will be a key member of our HW Chapter, drive innovation and create added value for our customers in the area of healthcare Mol lab, Core lab and Point of care customer areas.

You like sharing your know-how to help the whole team advance. Bringing in new ideas to improve existing products with new functions and cost optimization is important to you.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Develop concepts and participate in feasibility studies to meet technical requirements.
* Perform and take ownership of specific software development tasks, ensuring reviews using checklists and templates.
* Lead work package definition, estimation, and planning, and enhance or document SW unit specifications and designs.
* Review designs and contribute to the SW architecture, defining quality attributes and staying updated with technology trends.
* Conduct root-cause analysis of complex issues and provide bug fixes for post-market software releases.
* Ensure compliance with processes, propose improvements, and stay informed about regulatory and market standards.
Must Haves:
* University education in a software-related field such as software or electrical engineering.
* 2 years proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Rust development.
* Solid understanding of Rust's core concepts, including ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes.
* Experience with asynchronous programming in Rust (e.g., using async/await).
* Familiarity with common Rust libraries and frameworks (e.g., tokio, actix-web, rocket, serde, sqlx).
* Experience with C++ and Linux.
* Experience with Linux Dockers.
* Basic scripting knowledge would be an advantage.
* RabbitMQ knowledge would be an advantage.
* Experience with CAN bus.
* Event-Driven Architecture knowledge would be an advantage.
* First experience working in regulated environments such as the medical device industry.
* Highly motivated with focus on deadlines and a proactive and thorough way of working.
* Fluent in English and German is advantageous.
Nice to Have:
* Experience in agile environments.
