This is a 1.0 FTE, or full-time position. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide direct and indirect services/supports to students, Preschool - Transition Age in accordance with IDEA B. /li liParticipate as a member of a multidisciplinary team to conduct assessments for students referred to evaluation. /li liProvide short-term Rtl (Response to Intervention) supports when appropriate based on the Problem Solving Team's Intervention Plan. /li liBill Medicaid as appropriate. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liSpecial Services License issued by CDE; Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or similar field required /li liBachelor of Arts in Speech Communication /li liAbility to work effectively as a team member /li liGood communicator, creative and takes initiative /li liEvidence of strong written and verbal communication skills /li liEvidence of organization, planning and time management skills /li liSelf-starter and able to follow through on assigned tasks /li liBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liExperience working as a speech/language specialist in a public school setting preferred, but not required /li liExperience with augmentative communication devices /li liExperience and/or training in providing direct intervention for students identified as autistic, either as a Service Provider or as an integrated Service Provider to other special education programs /li liExperience in student assessment and data collection /li /ul h3Application Process /h3 pApply online at.
