Your role
* You will be assisted by a mentor and after a short period you will actively participate in the European intraday markets, helping to ensure efficient and effective operations
* Step by step you will practise how to optimize the company's renewable asset portfolio and execute trading strategies based on market opportunities and data-driven insights
* After the successful completion of your training program, you are responsible for the trading results in multiple countries during your shift
* Contribution to projects and special assignments that drive innovation and efficiency in trading processes
* You ensure full compliance with BKW's trading and conduct guidelines at all times
Your skills
* You hold a degree in economics, engineering, energy management or a similar field
* Sound analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
* Strong experience in coding languages such as Python.
* You are motivated by achieving ambitious goals and working in a high-performance environment
* Experience in trading or in energy markets is an advantage
* Willingness to participate in the team's 24/7 trading shift scheme
* Excellent communication in English; German or French are a plus
