Project:
Our client is looking for an experienced test automation engineer. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of test automation for the self-service portal and cockpit. You will ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are automatically checked, that early feedback is fed back into the development process, and that the continuous delivery pipeline is supported (Ref RF).
Tasks:
* Test strategy & planning
– Development of a test automation strategy for frontend, backend and interfaces
– Definition of test concepts, test cases and test data management
– Integration of tests into the CI/CD pipeline
* Test automation
– Setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g., for UI, API, end-to-end tests)
– Implementing automated tests in close coordination with developers
– Ensuring the reusability and maintainability of the tests
* Quality assurance & monitoring
– Definition and measurement of quality metrics (test coverage, defect density, etc.)
– Execution of non-functional tests (performance, security, reliability) where relevant
– Setup of test and quality dashboards in the 360-degree cockpit
* Artifacts for which the test automation engineer is responsible
– Test strategy & test concept
– Automated test scripts (unit, integration, API, E2E)
– Test data management concepts
– CI/CD test integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, DevOps pipelines)
– Test reports & quality metrics
– Defect reports & root cause analyses
Requirements:
* 3 years of experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into the development pipeline.
* 3 years of experience in backend test automation (API/command line).
* 3 years of experience in GUI test automation. This includes knowledge of test tools/libraries such as Selenium, Selenide, or Cypress.
* 3 years of experience implementing projects in agile environments: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Less
. * 3 years of experience working with the cloud (e.g., AWS or Azure).
* Excellent German language skills
. * Willingness to undergo a personal security clearance (PSP). (Existing PSP is an advantage.)
