The Role We are looking to expand our team with a Senior Principal Digital IC Design Engineer with experience in embedded MCU/DSP systems. You will develop and benchmark such systems using various processor cores and consult product integration teams during their integration into semiconductor products. As a senior engineer, you will mentor junior engineers and drive project activities.

What You’ll Do Lead project activities and mentor less experienced engineers
Architect, specify, implement, simulate, and benchmark MCU and DSP systems and hardware accelerators
Contribute to design methodology and flow improvements
Assist product teams in defining, integrating, and using these systems
Participate in verification and FPGA prototyping
Coordinate SDK development with the software team
What You’ll Need BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
At least 12 years of relevant experience in semiconductor development, including leadership
Experience with embedded CPUs (. ARM Cortex, DSP), AMBA protocols (AHB/APB)
RTL design in Verilog/SystemVerilog
Technical project leadership experience
Knowledge of design constraints (timing, power)
Strong technical documentation skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Eligibility to work in Switzerland
Additional Skills (Optional) Experience with CPU/MCU system design, SystemRDL, IP-XACT
Programming in Python and C/C++
Design of accelerators and signal processing components
RTL to GDS flow expertise
Advanced verification methods (. UVM)
Knowledge of French
